5x1 year premium Limetree vouchers...

Limetree is a web based and mobile app for parents to gather important family moments as they happen. It is a digital 'shoebox' to which you can add photos, videos and notes and sound clips as they happen. Limetree is not another social network or photo sharing app although parents may share an account so they can jointly add memories. It is designed as an alternative to sharing online and instead for creating and storing a private family archive.

A basic account on Limetree is free and includes space for 250 photos, 5mins of video, 5mins of audio and unlimited notes and letters. If you plan to grow your archive, a premium account provides space for unlimited photos, 2hrs of video per year and 4hrs of audio per year.

Limetree have offered me 5 premium memberships to giveaway so you can begin saving your moments.

What’s more, tired mums and dads can enjoy these recipes too, so there’s clean plates all round!”

She adds: “The UK's toddlers are the toughest food critics in Europe, and it’s so easy to feel frustrated and powerless when your child simply refuses to eat certain foods. But the key is not to give in or give up – persist with new foods, new recipes and creative ways to hide the good bits.”

What a year...

So here we are one year along on our blogging journey which I hope will become one of many...

Well actually we're not here, we've gone to Devon for a fun packed family weekend so this comes to you by virtual magic!

It's C The Boy's 3rd birthday and he's incredibly excited about it! He had been hoping for a fire engine party but now we're away it'll be a small cake and presents in our caravan. We're going to make it as special as we can so fingers crossed he won't be disappointed.

He's been desperately waiting for this day since last year when he inspired this post. Then he obsessed by ducks, it was one of his first and only words and he loved feeding them at the park. Now the over fed ducks in our park are usually disinterested in our ritual offerings and in turn hes lost interest in them and his one word has turned into constant natter, questions and ideas.

Hope everyone's having fun with all the last week's giveaways if you've not had a chance to enter yet they're open until 31st May and I've got three more to go!

If you've been bored stupid by me posting endless giveaways; don't worry they'll be over on Sunday when I promise normal service will resume.

Have a great weekend!

Listening to Fairies...

After a particularly annoying day the princess arrived home at the castle in a very bad mood. She told the Queen the teacher said she had written her sums wrong even though she had used a pretty purple pen and her neatest handwriting. The Queen explained that she needed to listen to the teachers to learn how to get the sums right. This was even more annoying so she went into the garden because she didn't want to listen.

She stomped around in circles a few times and then kicked a bush because she thought it might make her feel better. The bush rustled and behind it she noticed a door in the wall she had never seen before. She tested the door and it opened but as she went to step inside the gardener shouted over.

'Princess, if you're going in that door you need to...'

The princess still did not want to listen so she quickly stepped inside pretending she hadn't heard him. The door shut behind her but she wasn't in a room as she expected but another garden. The garden was circular and filled with beautiful coloured flowers.

In the middle of the garden was a fountain and as she walked over to look at it beautiful butterflies fluttered all around her. One of the butterflies landed on her shoulder and when she looked closely she realised it wasn't a butterfly but a tiny fairy.

'Dance with us' the fairy said.

They started singing beautifully so the princess danced and they fluttered around her, their magic dust lifted her into the air. She giggled as they spun her around in circles, sweeping around the garden. When they stopped her bad mood had gone but she was getting tired and hungry and knew she should go back to the castle. She tried the door she came into the garden but this time it was locked!

'Didn't you get a key from the gardener?' said the same fairy who had asked her to dance.

The princess said no and sat down and begun to cry she was tired, frustrated and knew she should've listened to the gardener. The fairies started to circle her once again and sung...

'Now you know to listen and are truly sorry,

We'll show you the way out, don't worry!'

The ground in front of her glowed, a golden key appeared and she knew she could go back to the castle in a happy mood.

Dr. Oetker Baking products giveaway...

One of my loves and hobbies besides blogging is cake decoration...

My most recent project was Master E's Communion cake, inspiration for it has sat on my Pinterest boards for at least a year. When planning any family celebration a cake for the occasion is usually the first thing on my mind.

I was incredibly pleased with the end result. Inside was a plain Maderia cake smothered in vanilla buttercream and then covered in ivory sugarpaste. My children love silver balls so added a few both for them to enjoy and appearance to the flowers and sides of the cake.

On a cake like this I usually lovingly cut and create each element by hand it's time consuming but I find it incredibly relaxing. Making cupcakes with the children is an entirely different matter and having a selection of decorations like Dr. Oetker's on hand is perfect for making something fun and pretty before their attention wanders.

I've got the perfect set of goodies to giveaway so you to use to create your own masterpiece.
