I've been tagged by the lovely Sonya at The Ramblings of a Formerly Rock & Roll Mum to answer a few questions about myself - so here goes...
When was the last time you cried?
I've just written about my mini-meltdown last Saturday, I had a cold and felt faint and the children sensed my weakness and chose not to go easy on me.
Are you named after anyone?
Well I'm sort of named after Emily Bronte and also a random girl that Mum heard on a radio call in show when heavily pregnant who must've sounded nice because she confirmed her decision.
Do you have kids?
This is a question that as a Mummy blogger tempts sarcasm in me and I want to say no but that would be lying so yes 4... Boy, Girl, Boy, Girl. I'm told that a boy and girl is a millionaires family so I have a double millionaires family; I'm just waiting for the money!
If you were another person would you be a friend to yourself?
Hmmm I'd like to say yes - I think I'm a good loyal friend to those who put up with me but I do occasionally wonder why they bother. I don't go out much out of choice and don't get in contact as often as I should but I think they know how much I care.
Do you use sarcasm alot?
Didn't see that question coming - I think I gave myself away above!
Will you ever bungee jump?
Absolutely not!
What's your favourite cereal?
I go through phases and eat loads of one until I get sick of it and move on - most recently it was Bran Flakes.
What's the first thing you notice about people?
This is hard to answer; I think it depends who the person is or what they're doing. I like people watching and I suppose if someone has a feature that stands out that's what I notice. If someone's hopping down the street I suppose that's the first thing I'd notice, if they're reading a paper - you get the picture...
One of my neighbours has pink hair which I notice all the time because there's not one other part of her that fits with her extreme choice of hair colour but that's drifting off topic a bit.
What's your eye colour?
Greenish - Grey
they look different colours in different lights and if I've been crying they go really dark green.
Scary movie or Happy ending?
Generally happy endings.
Favourite smells?
Rain on a warm day, Newborn baby, Flowerbomb Perfume.
What's the furthest you've been from home?
I've been to Hawaii & New Zealand but I'm not too sure which is technically the furthest away - answers on a postcard...
Where were you born?
West London
Do you have any special talents?
Heaps and Superpowers too - I'm a multi-tasking supermum haha!
Do you have any hobbies?
As well as blogging, I decorate cakes, spend far too much time on the computer and play too much songpop on my Iphone.
Do you have any pets?
2 cats - Star is 14 and has lived with me and hubby since we started dating she has been dragged from London to Ireland and will soon be dragged back again. Her brother was the beautiful North who was run over shortly after we moved. Zelda is our Irish cat who likes most to snuggle on hubby's lap and rarely can last a night without dragging in something half dead!
Favourite Film?
I'm not sure I have just one favourite film; I love musicals, Grease, The Sound of Music etc etc. I love The Green Mile and Gone with the Wind - nope, I don't have a favourite it just depends what mood I'm in.
Do you have any siblings?
I have a sister, who's 3 years younger. She's amazing, incredibly clever and I'm ever so proud of her :)
That's it - what a random bunch of questions - do you feel like you know me better now?
