PinItForward

Pinterest, #PinItForward

I’ve been passed the Baton to introduce you to Pinterest as part of their #PinItForward campaign…

If you’ve already discovered Pinterest then you don’t need me to tell you how wonderful it is, for those of you who haven’t Pinterest is not only incredibly addictive – it’s beautiful, useful, interesting and in my opinion the best social website to date.

Pinterest is used to store (‘pin’) image clips of anything from anywhere that inspire you, arranged onto individual boards. It has a social element whereby you can follow people you find interesting, view their pins, add them to you boards, like and comment this inspires more ideas and shares yours . Since my discovery I have saved a small fortune on expensive lifestyle magazines which I used to cut ideas from and stuff them in folders in the hope I’d one day neatly organise. Pinterest does this for me and is brimming with beautiful interior design, stunning wedding design and amazing holiday destinations.

Due to this I’ve seen it written off as all the things you’ll never do. There is some fabulous escapism to be had on Pinterest but that’s just one side of the coin. The other is quick & easy tips, a wealth of ideas, hundreds of recipes and guides for anything you could imagine, cooking, cakes, crafts, beauty.

Pinterest is a digital scrapbook for whatever you want and whoever you are. I have a board where I store all the posts from this blog just so I can find the one I’m searching for quickly and easily. Boards for the boys, girls, parties, seasons and this my Family Fun board which is my go to guide when I need inspiration for relatively quick and easy thing that will entertain us all…

I also have boards full of every kind of cake design to inspire me whenever there’s an occasion and there’s plenty of occasions for cake! Here are some that I’ve made…

So if you haven’t registered for Pinterest, you can do so here and will be glad you did! I’m #PinningItForward to fellow MAD Blog Awards Finalist – Morgana at But Why Mummy Why. Her Pinterest boards are as full of style as her vintage inspired blog. Full of chic clothing, home design, stuff for the kiddos and a couple of stunning girl crushes..!
