Beados Quick Dry Design Studio…

Beados are utterly brilliant in my opinion; exactly the no mess, no fuss craft project for keeping children entertained that life so regularly demands because as much as I enjoy crafting with the children, so often the clean-up is just more work you can do without! Suitable from age 4+ Beados can be enjoyed by little ones with a small bit of guidance and older ones can create lovely charms independently.

Great for both fine motor skills, colour matching and more Beados are quick and easy to set up and get started. All you really need is the beads, tray and template and you can begin creating you design then spritz with water and the beads magically join together and set.

The Quick Dry Design Studio adds an extra tool with a fan to dry your project once complete and whilst I at first questioned the need for this, watching how impatient Madam (aged 8) was waiting 10 minutes for the fan to dry a project I can now see this is a godsend if you have smaller children eager to complete their projects.

The fan requires 2 x AA batteries which aren’t included and it would appear from Madam’s ‘testing’ that it doesn’t hurt too much or injure if you put your fingers in the blades!? The full set includes…

  • 500 Beads
  • 1 Quick dry design station
  • 1 tweezer pen
  • 2 bead trays
  • 1 water sprayer
  • 6 design templates
  • 2 suction cups
  • 1 display stand
  • 1 connector bead
  • 1 bead storage tray
  • 3 bag tags
  • 3 bag tag threads
  • Instructions

The templates make a parrot, unicorn, crown, teddy bear, rabbit and ice-cream and this set allows you to turn 3 of your creations into bag tags which is a lovely way to display them. To attach the bag tag you just spray the back and attach in the same way the beads magically join with water.

The studio is available for £19.99 from Character Online along with the rest of the range of Beados themed sets and activity packs.
