We decided to put together a matching ‘learning kit’ for one of our lucky readers to give away to a very lucky one of our readers.
However, being Family Four FUN – we couldn’t stop there! When I started every new school year, I remember stationery shopping being a huge event. We had to have erasers of every shape and size, pens of every colour and big bright pencil cases that would barely close for all the goodies jammed inside.
When it comes to shopping for fun school stationery, Smiggle is always the first stop. This is the children’s absolute favourite stationery supplier and it’s impossible to leave the shopping centre without a quick visit. Remember what I said about the big bright pencil case, well here it is with compartments to organise all your pens and pencils and lots more fun stuff. We then added Smiggle’s signature scented gel pens, which according to Madam earn serious stationery street cred. For lunch we picked a silicone drinks bottle which can be rolled up when empty to save space and this very funky lunch box that can be customised yourself with the pens included.
I recently reviewed BIC’s range of colours, they’re all really great and suitable for younger children going back to school. They all have really bright colour which transfers with little effort so they won’t need to push down too hard on pencil or crayons. However, if they do, the crayons are much more resistant to breaking and pencils have an anti-splinter design. We’ve included the full, teacher approved set!
From Flying Tiger we have included almost everything from my Back to School Essentials from Tiger post and then Madam picked a few of her favourite novelty goodies. One of her favourites is the magnetic metal basket, she has one on her desk at home and another one to pop in her locker at school to organise things there.
Last but by no means least and in Paperchase we made sure we had most the back to school essentials for the learning kit. We were able to use their back to school check-list to ensure our winner would have everything they’ll need, this is a handy thing to have to hand when back to school shopping which you can either find online or pick up in-store. We picked some smart black, navy and silver colour theme and then brightened it all up with the rainbow sticky notes, highlighters and rubber band ball.
To really make this giveaway pop with cuteness and colour we picked up a selection of Paperchase’s Hello Kitty back to school range! There is a huge selection and it took us ages to decide our very favourites, eventually we settled on…
- Hello Kitty at Paperchase snack boxes, set of 4 – £8.50
- Hello Kitty at Paperchase pass case – £8.50
- Hello Kitty at Paperchase jars of erasers, set of 3 – £8.00
- Hello Kitty at Paperchase memo notes with tabs – £5.00
We even included the lightbox!!
