The Game of Life – Fame Edition
Both myself and hubby really enjoyed The Game of Life as children and are really looking forward to trying out this new version. In this version you chose your celebrity role and then build an entourage in your limo. Action cards have you sing, dance and rap your way to 5 star cards for victory.
River Island Girls Jumper & Boots
Because Madam spends half the year pointing out items she wants from the River Island girl’s collection, I always add some with accessories to her Christmas gift pile.
I’m quite sure this was on last year’s list too but it doesn’t seem she can get enough of the stuff. Her ambition is to be a make up artist and what she wants most in the set is mascara because I have drawn the line at that! I’m not sure if this is an 8 year old girl thing or just my daughter but know I was pretty fond of make up around her age too.
From Nintendo for the 3DS is absolutely perfect for this age group. You can create and control 100’s of Mii characters with their own character traits who interact with one another in the Island community you create. It is your job to help your characters reach their goals to make their dreams come true.
It’s black and sparkly and she saw someone who I might not approve of wearing one on a YouTube video – what she doesn’t realise is that her Mother after watching ‘When Harry met Sally’ wanted exactly the same.
Denim Badge Rucksack
Another goodie from Claire’s accessories which she’s been hinting at over several visits but at £25 was over her normal budget for a visit.
Another recreation of a toy that brings back memories. When I was younger I discovered one of these whilst on holiday quite literally and was the first in my school to have one – it was my mini moment of cool before much better versions that counted your skips were released here. This one has coloured light patterns which change as you level up and I can’t wait for a turn!
